SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CTPS2 (CTP synthase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CTPS2 qPCR Primer Set – CTP synthase 2
Also known as: GATD5B
About this gene: The CTPS2 protein catalyzes the formation of CTP from UTP with the concomitant deamination of glutamine to glutamate. The CTPS2 protein is the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of cytosine nucleotides. Thus, this protein is an attractive target for selective chemotherapy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 56474; HGNC ID: HGNC:2520; UniProt: Q9NRF8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_175859.3; Chromosome location: Xp22.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
