About this gene: The CTNNB1 protein is part of a complex of proteins that constitute adherens junctions. AJs are necessary for the creation and maintenance of epithelial cell layers by regulating cell growth and adhesion between cells. The CTNNB1 protein also anchors the actin cytoskeleton and may be responsible for transmitting the contact inhibition signal that causes cells to stop dividing once the epithelial sheet is complete.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
