SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CSAD (cysteine sulfinic acid decarboxylase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CSAD qPCR Primer Set – cysteine sulfinic acid decarboxylase
Also known as: CSADC, CSD, PCAP
About this gene: CSAD belongs to the group 2 decarboxylase family. A similar protein in rodents is involved in multiple biological processes as the rate-limiting enzyme in taurine biosynthesis, catalyzing the decarboxylation of cysteinesulfinate to hypotaurine.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51380; HGNC ID: HGNC:18966; UniProt: Q9Y600; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001244705.2; Chromosome location: 12q13.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
