SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human MED7 (mediator complex subunit 7, also called ARC34) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human MED7 qPCR Primer Set – mediator complex subunit 7
Also known as: ARC34, CRSP33, CRSP9
About this gene: The activation of gene transcription is a multistep process that is triggered by factors that recognize transcriptional enhancer sites in DNA. These factors work with co-activators to direct transcriptional initiation by the RNA polymerase II apparatus. The MED7 protein is a subunit of the CRSP complex, which, along with TFIID, is required for efficient activation by SP1. The MED7 protein is also a component of other multisubunit complexes e.g. thyroid hormone receptor- associated proteins which interact with TR and facilitate TR function on DNA templates in conjunction with initiation factors and cofactors.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9443; HGNC ID: HGNC:2378; UniProt: O43513; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004270.5; Chromosome location: 5q33.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
