SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CRH (corticotropin releasing hormone, also called CRF) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CRH qPCR Primer Set – corticotropin releasing hormone
Also known as: CRF, CRH1
About this gene: CRH belongs to the corticotropin-releasing factor family. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature neuropeptide hormone. In response to stress, this hormone is secreted by the paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus, binds to corticotropin releasing hormone receptors and stimulates the release of adrenocorticotropic hormone from the pituitary gland.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1392; HGNC ID: HGNC:2355; UniProt: P06850; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000756.4; Chromosome location: 8q13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
