SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CREB1 (cAMP responsive element binding protein 1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CREB1 qPCR Primer Set – cAMP responsive element binding protein 1
Also known as: CREB, CREB-1
About this gene: CREB1 encodes a transcription factor that belongs to the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins. The CREB1 protein binds as a homodimer to the cAMP-responsive element, an octameric palindrome. The protein is phosphorylated by multiple protein kinases, and induces transcription of genes in response to hormonal stimulation of the cAMP pathway.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1385; HGNC ID: HGNC:2345; UniProt: P16220; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004379.5; Chromosome location: 2q33.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
