SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CRABP1 (cellular retinoic acid binding protein 1, also called CRABP-I) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CRABP1 qPCR Primer Set – cellular retinoic acid binding protein 1
Also known as: CRABP, CRABP-I, CRABPI, RBP5
About this gene: CRABP1 encodes a specific binding protein for a vitamin A family member and is believed to play an important role in retinoic acid-mediated differentiation and proliferation processes. The CRABP1 gene product is structurally similar to the cellular retinol-binding proteins, but binds only retinoic acid at specific sites within the nucleus, which may contribute to vitamin A-directed differentiation in epithelial tissue.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1381; HGNC ID: HGNC:2338; UniProt: P29762; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004378.3; Chromosome location: 15q25.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
