SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CPT1C (carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1C, also called CPTI-B) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CPT1C qPCR Primer Set – carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1C
Also known as: CATL1, CPT I-C, CPT1-B, CPT1P, CPTI-B, CPTIC, SPG73
About this gene: CPT1C belongs to the carnitine/choline acetyltransferase family. The CPT1C protein regulates the beta-oxidation and transport of long-chain fatty acids into mitochondria, and may play a role in the regulation of feeding behavior and whole-body energy homeostasis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 126129; HGNC ID: HGNC:18540; UniProt: Q8TCG5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001199753.2; Chromosome location: 19q13.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
