SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CPT1B (carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1B, also called CPT1-M) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CPT1B qPCR Primer Set – carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1B
Also known as: CPT1-M, CPT1M, CPTI, CPTI-M, M-CPT1, MCCPT1, MCPT1
About this gene: The protein encoded by CPT1B, a member of the carnitine/choline acetyltransferase family, is the rate-controlling enzyme of the long-chain fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway in muscle mitochondria. This enzyme is required for the net transport of long-chain fatty acyl-CoAs from the cytoplasm into the mitochondria.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1375; HGNC ID: HGNC:2329; UniProt: Q92523; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_152246.3; Chromosome location: 22q13.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
