SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CPE (carboxypeptidase E, also called CPH) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CPE qPCR Primer Set – carboxypeptidase E
Also known as: BDVS, CPH, IDDHH
About this gene: CPE belongs to the M14 family of metallocarboxypeptidases. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature peptidase. This peripheral membrane protein cleaves C-terminal amino acid residues and is involved in the biosynthesis of peptide hormones and neurotransmitters, including insulin.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1363; HGNC ID: HGNC:2303; UniProt: P16870; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001873.4; Chromosome location: 4q32.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
