SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CPA3 (carboxypeptidase A3, also called MC-CPA) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CPA3 qPCR Primer Set – carboxypeptidase A3
Also known as: MC-CPA
About this gene: CPA3 belongs to the carboxypeptidase A family of zinc metalloproteases. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate a mature protease that is released by mast cells and may be involved in the degradation of endogenous proteins and the inactivation of venom-associated peptides. Expression of CPA3 may be elevated in human asthma patients.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1359; HGNC ID: HGNC:2298; UniProt: P15088; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001870.4; Chromosome location: 3q24
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
