SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human COX5A (cytochrome c oxidase subunit 5A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human COX5A qPCR Primer Set – cytochrome c oxidase subunit 5A
Also known as: COX, COX-VA, MC4DN20, VA
About this gene: Cytochrome c oxidase is the terminal enzyme of the mitochondrial respiratory chain. The COX5A gene product is a multi-subunit enzyme complex that couples the transfer of electrons from cytochrome c to molecular oxygen and contributes to a proton electrochemical gradient across the inner mitochondrial membrane. The complex consists of 13 mitochondrial- and nuclear-encoded subunits.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9377; HGNC ID: HGNC:2267; UniProt: P20674; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004255.4; Chromosome location: 15q24.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
