SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human COX15 (cytochrome c oxidase assembly factor COX15, also called HAS) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human COX15 qPCR Primer Set – cytochrome c oxidase assembly factor COX15
Also known as: CEMCOX2, HAS, MC4DN6
About this gene: Cytochrome c oxidase, the terminal component of the mitochondrial respiratory chain, catalyzes the electron transfer from reduced cytochrome c to oxygen. This component is a heteromeric complex consisting of 3 catalytic subunits encoded by mitochondrial genes and multiple structural subunits encoded by nuclear genes. The mitochondrially-encoded subunits function in electron transfer, and the nuclear-encoded subunits may function in the regulation and assembly of the complex.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1355; HGNC ID: HGNC:2263; UniProt: Q7KZN9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_078470.6; Chromosome location: 10q24.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
