Human AFG3L2 qPCR Primer Set – AFG3 like matrix AAA peptidase subunit 2
Also known as: OPA12, SCA28, SPAX5
About this gene: AFG3L2 encodes a protein localized in mitochondria and closely related to paraplegin. The paraplegin gene is responsible for an autosomal recessive form of hereditary spastic paraplegia. AFG3L2 is a candidate gene for other hereditary spastic paraplegias or neurodegenerative disorders.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10939; HGNC ID: HGNC:315; UniProt: Q9Y4W6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006796.3; Chromosome location: 18p11.21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
