SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human COTL1 (coactosin like F-actin binding protein 1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human COTL1 qPCR Primer Set – coactosin like F-actin binding protein 1
Also known as: CLP
About this gene: COTL1 encodes one of the numerous actin-binding proteins which regulate the actin cytoskeleton. The COTL1 protein binds F-actin, and also interacts with 5-lipoxygenase, which is the first committed enzyme in leukotriene biosynthesis. Although COTL1 has been reported to map to chromosome 17 in the Smith-Magenis syndrome region, the best alignments for COTL1 are to chromosome 16.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23406; HGNC ID: HGNC:18304; UniProt: Q14019; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_021149.5; Chromosome location: 16q24.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
