SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human COL17A1 (collagen type XVII alpha 1 chain, also called XVII) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human COL17A1 qPCR Primer Set – collagen type XVII alpha 1 chain
Also known as: BA16H23.2, BP180, BPA-2, BPAG2, ERED, JEB4, LAD-1
About this gene: COL17A1 encodes a alpha chain of type XVII collagen. Unlike most collagens, collagen XVII is a transmembrane protein. Collagen XVII is a structural component of hemidesmosomes, multiprotein complexes at the dermal-epidermal basement membrane zone that mediate adhesion of keratinocytes to the underlying membrane.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1308; HGNC ID: HGNC:2194; UniProt: Q9UMD9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000494.4; Chromosome location: 10q25.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
