SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human COIL (coilin, also called p80-coilin) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human COIL qPCR Primer Set – coilin
Also known as: CLN80, p80-coilin
About this gene: The COIL protein is an integral component of Cajal bodies. Cajal bodies are nuclear suborganelles of varying number and composition that are involved in the post-transcriptional modification of small nuclear and small nucleolar RNAs. The N-terminus of the coilin protein directs its self-oligomerization while the C-terminus influences the number of nuclear bodies assembled per cell.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8161; HGNC ID: HGNC:2184; UniProt: P38432; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004645.3; Chromosome location: 17q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
