SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CNGB1 (cyclic nucleotide gated channel subunit beta 1, also called CNG4) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CNGB1 qPCR Primer Set – cyclic nucleotide gated channel subunit beta 1
Also known as: CNCG2, CNCG3L, CNCG4, CNG4, CNGB1B, GAR1, GARP, GARP2, RCNC2, RCNCb, RCNCbeta, RP45
About this gene: In humans, the rod photoreceptor cGMP-gated cation channel helps regulate ion flow into the rod photoreceptor outer segment in response to light-induced alteration of the levels of intracellular cGMP. This channel consists of two subunits, alpha and beta. Defects in CNGB1 are a cause of cause of retinitis pigmentosa type 45.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1258; HGNC ID: HGNC:2151; UniProt: Q14028; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001297.5; Chromosome location: 16q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
