SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CNGA1 (cyclic nucleotide gated channel subunit alpha 1, also called CNG1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CNGA1 qPCR Primer Set – cyclic nucleotide gated channel subunit alpha 1
Also known as: CNCG, CNCG1, CNG-1, CNG1, RCNC1, RCNCa, RCNCalpha, RP49
About this gene: The CNGA1 protein is involved in phototransduction. Along with another protein, the CNGA1 protein forms a cGMP-gated cation channel in the plasma membrane, allowing depolarization of rod photoreceptors. This represents the last step in the phototransduction pathway.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1259; HGNC ID: HGNC:2148; UniProt: P29973; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001379270.1; Chromosome location: 4p12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
