SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CLPX (caseinolytic mitochondrial matrix peptidase chaperone subunit X) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CLPX qPCR Primer Set – caseinolytic mitochondrial matrix peptidase chaperone subunit X
Also known as: EPP2
About this gene: The CLPX protein is part of a protease found in mitochondria. This protease is ATP-dependent and targets specific proteins for degradation. The protease consists of two heptameric rings of the CLPP catalytic subunit sandwiched between two hexameric rings of the chaperone subunit encoded by CLPX.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10845; HGNC ID: HGNC:2088; UniProt: O76031; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006660.5; Chromosome location: 15q22.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
