Human CLK2 qPCR Primer Set – CDC like kinase 2
About this gene: CLK2 encodes a dual specificity protein kinase that phosphorylates serine/threonine and tyrosine-containing substrates. Activity of this protein regulates serine- and arginine-rich proteins of the spliceosomal complex, thereby influencing alternative transcript splicing. Chromosomal translocations have been characterized between this locus and the PAFAH1B3 (platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase 1b, catalytic subunit 3) gene on chromosome 19, resulting in the production of a fusion protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1196; HGNC ID: HGNC:2069; UniProt: P49760; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001294338.2; Chromosome location: 1q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
