About this gene: CLCA3P is a transcribed pseudogene belonging to the calcium sensitive chloride conductance protein family. To date, all members of CLCA3P family map to the same site on chromosome 1p31-p22 and share high degrees of homology in size, sequence and predicted structure, but differ significantly in their tissue distributions. CLCA3P contains multiple nonsense codons compared to other family members that render the transcript a candidate for nonsense-mediated mRNA decay.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
