SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CKMT2 (creatine kinase, mitochondrial 2, also called Mib-CK) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CKMT2 qPCR Primer Set – creatine kinase, mitochondrial 2
Also known as: SMTCK
About this gene: Mitochondrial creatine kinase is responsible for the transfer of high energy phosphate from mitochondria to the cytosolic carrier, creatine. The CKMT2 gene product belongs to the creatine kinase isoenzyme family. The CKMT2 gene product exists as two isoenzymes, sarcomeric MtCK and ubiquitous MtCK, encoded by separate genes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1160; HGNC ID: HGNC:1996; UniProt: P17540; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001099735.2; Chromosome location: 5q14.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
