SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CKB (creatine kinase B, also called B-CK) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CKB qPCR Primer Set – creatine kinase B
Also known as: B-CK, BCK, CKBB, CPK-B, HEL-211, HEL-S-29
About this gene: The CKB protein is a cytoplasmic enzyme involved in energy homeostasis. The CKB protein reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens such as creatine phosphate. The CKB gene product acts as a homodimer in brain as well as in other tissues, and as a heterodimer with a similar muscle isozyme in heart.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1152; HGNC ID: HGNC:1991; UniProt: P12277; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001823.5; Chromosome location: 14q32.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
