SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PARP2 (poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 2, also called ARTD2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human PARP2 qPCR Primer Set – poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 2
Also known as: ADPRT2, ADPRTL2, ADPRTL3, ARTD2, PARP-2, pADPRT-2
About this gene: PARP2 encodes polytransferase-like 2 protein, which contains a catalytic domain and is capable of catalyzing a polyation reaction. The PARP2 protein has a catalytic domain which is homologous to that of poly transferase, but lacks an N-terminal DNA binding domain which activates the C-terminal catalytic domain of poly transferase. The basic residues within the N-terminal region of this protein may bear potential DNA-binding properties, and may be involved in the nuclear and/or nucleolar targeting of the protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10038; HGNC ID: HGNC:272; UniProt: Q9UGN5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001042618.2; Chromosome location: 14q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
