Human NDUFAF1 qPCR Primer Set – NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase complex assembly factor 1
Also known as: CGI-65, CGI65, CIA30, MC1DN11
About this gene: NDUFAF1 encodes a complex I assembly factor protein. Complex I catalyzes the transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone in the first step of the mitochondrial respiratory chain, resulting in the translocation of protons across the inner mitochondrial membrane. The NDUFAF1 protein is required for assembly of complex I, and mutations in NDUFAF1 are a cause of mitochondrial complex I deficiency.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51103; HGNC ID: HGNC:18828; UniProt: Q9Y375; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016013.4; Chromosome location: 15q15.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
