SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CHSY1 (chondroitin sulfate synthase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CHSY1 qPCR Primer Set – chondroitin sulfate synthase 1
Also known as: CHSY, CSS1, ChSy-1, TPBS
About this gene: CHSY1 belongs to the chondroitin N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase family. These enzymes possess dual glucuronyltransferase and galactosaminyltransferase activity and play critical roles in the biosynthesis of chondroitin sulfate, a glycosaminoglycan involved in many biological processes including cell proliferation and morphogenesis. Decreased expression of CHSY1 may play a role in colorectal cancer, and mutations in CHSY1 are a cause of temtamy preaxial brachydactyly syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 22856; HGNC ID: HGNC:17198; UniProt: Q86X52; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014918.5; Chromosome location: 15q26.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
