SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CHST8 (carbohydrate sulfotransferase 8, also called GalNAc-4-ST1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CHST8 qPCR Primer Set – carbohydrate sulfotransferase 8
Also known as: GALNAC4ST1, GalNAc4ST, PSS3
About this gene: The CHST8 protein belongs to the sulfotransferase 2 family. The CHST8 gene product is predominantly expressed in the pituitary gland, and is localized to the golgi membrane. The CHST8 protein catalyzes the transfer of sulfate to position 4 of non-reducing N-acetylgalactosamine residues in both N-glycans and O-glycans.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 64377; HGNC ID: HGNC:15993; UniProt: Q9H2A9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001127895.2; Chromosome location: 19q13.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
