SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CHST4 (carbohydrate sulfotransferase 4, also called LSST) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CHST4 qPCR Primer Set – carbohydrate sulfotransferase 4
Also known as: GST3, GlcNAc6ST2, HECGLCNAC6ST, LSST
About this gene: CHST4 encodes a N-acetylglucosamine 6-O sulfotransferase. The encoded enzyme transfers sulfate from 3'phosphoadenosine 5'phospho-sulfate to the 6-hydroxyl group of N-acetylglucosamine on glycoproteins. The CHST4 protein is localized to the Golgi and is involved in the modification of glycan structures on ligands of the lymphocyte homing receptor L-selectin.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10164; HGNC ID: HGNC:1972; UniProt: Q8NCG5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001166395.2; Chromosome location: 16q22.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
