Human CHRND qPCR Primer Set – cholinergic receptor nicotinic delta subunit

Also known as: ACHRD, CMS2A, CMS3A, CMS3B, CMS3C, FCCMS, SCCMS

About this gene: The acetylcholine receptor of muscle has 5 subunits of 4 different types: 2 alpha and 1 each of beta, gamma and delta subunits. After acetylcholine binding, the receptor undergoes an extensive conformation change that affects all subunits and leads to opening of an ion-conducting channel across the plasma membrane. Defects in CHRND are a cause of multiple pterygium syndrome lethal type, congenital myasthenic syndrome slow-channel type, and congenital myasthenic syndrome fast-channel type.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1144; HGNC ID: HGNC:1965; UniProt: Q07001; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000751.3; Chromosome location: 2q37.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
