SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CHRNA7 (cholinergic receptor nicotinic alpha 7 subunit, also called nAChR7) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CHRNA7 qPCR Primer Set – cholinergic receptor nicotinic alpha 7 subunit
Also known as: CHRNA7-2, NACHRA7, a7nAChR, nAChR7
About this gene: The nicotinic acetylcholine receptors are members of a superfamily of ligand-gated ion channels that mediate fast signal transmission at synapses. The nAChRs are thought to be hetero-pentamers composed of homologous subunits. The proposed structure for each subunit is a conserved N-terminal extracellular domain followed by three conserved transmembrane domains, a variable cytoplasmic loop, a fourth conserved transmembrane domain, and a short C-terminal extracellular region.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1139; HGNC ID: HGNC:1960; UniProt: P36544; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000746.6; Chromosome location: 15q13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
