SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CHRNA5 (cholinergic receptor nicotinic alpha 5 subunit) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CHRNA5 qPCR Primer Set – cholinergic receptor nicotinic alpha 5 subunit
Also known as: LNCR2
About this gene: The CHRNA5 protein is a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subunit and a member of a superfamily of ligand-gated ion channels that mediate fast signal transmission at synapses. These receptors are thought to be heteropentamers composed of separate but similar subunits. Defects in CHRNA5 have been linked to susceptibility to lung cancer type 2.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1138; HGNC ID: HGNC:1959; UniProt: P30532; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000745.4; Chromosome location: 15q25.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
