SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CHMP2B (charged multivesicular body protein 2B, also called CHMP2.5) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CHMP2B qPCR Primer Set – charged multivesicular body protein 2B
Also known as: ALS17, CHMP2.5, DMT1, FTDALS7, VPS2-2, VPS2B
About this gene: CHMP2B encodes a component of the heteromeric ESCRT-III complex that functions in the recycling or degradation of cell surface receptors. ESCRT-III functions in the concentration and invagination of ubiquitinated endosomal cargos into intralumenal vesicles. The CHMP2B protein is found as a monomer in the cytosol or as an oligomer in ESCRT-III complexes on endosomal membranes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25978; HGNC ID: HGNC:24537; UniProt: Q9UQN3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014043.4; Chromosome location: 3p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
