SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CHKA (choline kinase alpha, also called CK) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CHKA qPCR Primer Set – choline kinase alpha
Also known as: CHK, CK, CKI, EK, NEDMIMS
About this gene: The major pathway for the biosynthesis of phosphatidylcholine occurs via the CDP-choline pathway. The CHKA protein is the initial enzyme in the sequence and may play a regulatory role. The CHKA protein also catalyzes the phosphorylation of ethanolamine.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 1119; HGNC ID: HGNC:1937; UniProt: P35790; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001277.3; Chromosome location: 11q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
