SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ADM2 (adrenomedullin 2, also called Intermedin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ADM2 qPCR Primer Set – adrenomedullin 2
Also known as: AM2, dJ579N16.4
About this gene: ADM2 belongs to the calcitonin gene-related peptide/calcitonin family of hormones that play a role in the regulation of cardiovascular homeostasis, prolactin release, anti-diuresis, anti-natriuresis, and regulation of food and water intake. The ADM2 protein is proteolytically processed to generate one or more biologically active peptides.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79924; HGNC ID: HGNC:28898; UniProt: Q7Z4H4; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001253845.2; Chromosome location: 22q13.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
