SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CES3 (carboxylesterase 3) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CES3 qPCR Primer Set – carboxylesterase 3
Also known as: ES31
About this gene: CES3 belongs to the carboxylesterase large family. The family members are responsible for the hydrolysis or transesterification of various xenobiotics, such as cocaine and heroin, and endogenous substrates with ester, thioester, or amide bonds. They may participate in fatty acyl and cholesterol ester metabolism, and may play a role in the blood-brain barrier system.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23491; HGNC ID: HGNC:1865; UniProt: Q6UWW8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024922.6; Chromosome location: 16q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
