SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CPAP (centrosome assembly and centriole elongation protein, also called CENP-J) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CPAP qPCR Primer Set – centrosome assembly and centriole elongation protein
Also known as: BM032, CENP-J, CENPJ, LAP, LIP1, MCPH6, SASS4, SCKL4, Sas-4
About this gene: CPAP encodes a protein that belongs to the centromere protein family. During cell division, this protein plays a structural role in the maintenance of centrosome integrity and normal spindle morphology, and it is involved in microtubule disassembly at the centrosome. The CPAP protein can function as a transcriptional coactivator in the Stat5 signaling pathway, and also as a coactivator of NF-kappaB-mediated transcription, likely via its interaction with the coactivator p300/CREB-binding protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55835; HGNC ID: HGNC:17272; UniProt: Q9HC77; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_018451.5; Chromosome location: 13q12.12-q12.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
