SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CENPH (centromere protein H, also called CENP-H) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CENPH qPCR Primer Set – centromere protein H
About this gene: Centromere and kinetochore proteins play a critical role in centromere structure, kinetochore formation, and sister chromatid separation. The CENPH protein colocalizes with inner kinetochore plate proteins CENP-A and CENP-C in both interphase and metaphase. The CENPH gene product localizes outside of centromeric heterochromatin, where CENP-B is localized, and inside the kinetochore corona, where CENP-E is localized during prometaphase.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 64946; HGNC ID: HGNC:17268; UniProt: Q9H3R5; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_022909.4; Chromosome location: 5q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
