About this gene: The protein encoded by this intronless gene is a bZIP transcription factor which can bind as a homodimer to certain DNA regulatory regions. The CEBPD gene product can also form heterodimers with the related protein CEBP-alpha. The CEBPD protein is important in the regulation of genes involved in immune and inflammatory responses, and may be involved in the regulation of genes linked to activation and/or differentiation of macrophages.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
