SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HERC5 (HECT and RLD domain containing E3 ubiquitin protein ligase 5) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human HERC5 qPCR Primer Set – HECT and RLD domain containing E3 ubiquitin protein ligase 5
Also known as: CEB1, CEBP1
About this gene: HERC5 belongs to the HERC family of ubiquitin ligases and encodes a protein with a HECT domain and five RCC1 repeats. Pro-inflammatory cytokines upregulate expression of HERC5 in endothelial cells. The protein localizes to the cytoplasm and perinuclear region and acts as an interferon-induced E3 protein ligase that mediates ISGylation of protein targets.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51191; HGNC ID: HGNC:24368; UniProt: Q9UII4; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016323.4; Chromosome location: 4q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
