About this gene: CEACAM6 encodes a protein that belongs to the carcinoembryonic antigen family whose members are glycosyl phosphatidyl inositol anchored cell surface glycoproteins. Members of this family play a role in cell adhesion and are widely used as tumor markers in serum immunoassay determinations of carcinoma. CEACAM6 affects the sensitivity of tumor cells to adenovirus infection.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
