About this gene: CEACAM5 encodes a cell surface glycoprotein that represents the founding member of the carcinoembryonic antigen family of proteins. The CEACAM5 protein is used as a clinical biomarker for gastrointestinal cancers and may promote tumor development through its role as a cell adhesion molecule. Additionally, the CEACAM5 protein may regulate differentiation, apoptosis, and cell polarity.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
