About this gene: CEACAM3 belongs to the family of carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecules, which are used by multiple bacterial pathogens to bind and invade host cells. The encoded transmembrane protein directs phagocytosis of multiple bacterial species that is dependent on the small GTPase Rac. The CEACAM3 gene product is believed to serve an important role in controlling human-specific pathogens by the innate immune system.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
