SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CDK5RAP1 (CDK5RAP1 mitochondrial tRNA methylthiotransferase) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CDK5RAP1 qPCR Primer Set – CDK5RAP1 mitochondrial tRNA methylthiotransferase
Also known as: C20orf34, C42, CGI-05, HSPC167
About this gene: CDK5RAP1 encodes a regulator of cyclin-dependent kinase 5 activity. The CDK5RAP1 protein has also been reported to modify RNA by adding a methylthio-group and may thus have a dual function as an RNA methylthiotransferase and as an inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinase 5 activity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51654; HGNC ID: HGNC:15880; UniProt: Q96SZ6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016408.4; Chromosome location: 20q11.21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
