SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CD164 (CD164 molecule, also called Endolyn) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CD164 qPCR Primer Set – CD164 molecule
Also known as: DFNA66, MGC-24, MGC-24v, MUC-24, endolyn
About this gene: CD164 encodes a transmembrane sialomucin and cell adhesion molecule that regulates the proliferation, adhesion and migration of hematopoietic progenitor cells. The CD164 protein also interacts with the C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 and may regulate muscle development. Elevated expression of CD164 has been observed in human patients with Sezary syndrome, a type of blood cancer, and a mutation in CD164 may be linked to impaired hearing.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8763; HGNC ID: HGNC:1632; UniProt: Q04900; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006016.6; Chromosome location: 6q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
