SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CD14 (CD14 molecule) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CD14 qPCR Primer Set – CD14 molecule
About this gene: The CD14 protein is a surface antigen that is preferentially expressed on monocytes/macrophages. The CD14 gene product cooperates with other proteins to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide, and to viruses. CD14 has been identified as a target candidate in the treatment of SARS-CoV-2-infected patients to potentially lessen or inhibit a severe inflammatory response.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 929; HGNC ID: HGNC:1628; UniProt: P08571; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000591.4; Chromosome location: 5q31.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
