SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CCDC88A (coiled-coil and HOOK domain protein 88A, also called APE) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CCDC88A qPCR Primer Set – coiled-coil and HOOK domain protein 88A
Also known as: APE, GIRDIN, GIV, GRDN, HkRP1, KIAA1212, PEHO, PEHOL
About this gene: CCDC88A belongs to the Girdin family of coiled-coil domain containing proteins. The CCDC88A protein is an actin-binding protein that is activated by the serine/threonine kinase Akt and is involved in cytoskeleton remodeling and cell migration. The CCDC88A protein also enhances Akt signaling by mediating phosphoinositide 3-kinase-dependent activation of Akt by growth factor receptor tyrosine kinases and G protein-coupled receptors.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55704; HGNC ID: HGNC:25523; UniProt: Q3V6T2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001365480.1; Chromosome location: 2p16.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
