SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CAV2 (caveolin 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CAV2 qPCR Primer Set – caveolin 2
Also known as: CAV
About this gene: The CAV2 protein is a major component of the inner surface of caveolae, small invaginations of the plasma membrane, and is involved in essential cellular functions, including signal transduction, lipid metabolism, cellular growth control and apoptosis. The CAV2 protein may function as a tumor suppressor. CAV2 and related family member are located next to each other on chromosome 7, and express colocalizing proteins that form a stable hetero-oligomeric complex.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 858; HGNC ID: HGNC:1528; UniProt: P51636; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001233.5; Chromosome location: 7q31.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
