SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CASP1 (caspase 1, also called ICE) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CASP1 qPCR Primer Set – caspase 1
Also known as: ICE, IL1BC, P45
About this gene: CASP1 encodes a protein which belongs to the cysteine-aspartic acid protease family. Sequential activation of caspases plays a central role in the execution-phase of cell apoptosis. Caspases exist as inactive proenzymes which undergo proteolytic processing at conserved aspartic residues to produce 2 subunits, large and small, that dimerize to form the active enzyme.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 834; HGNC ID: HGNC:1499; UniProt: P29466; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001257118.3; Chromosome location: 11q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
