SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CARS1 (cysteinyl-tRNA synthetase 1, also called CysRS) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human CARS1 qPCR Primer Set – cysteinyl-tRNA synthetase 1
Also known as: CARS, CYSRS, MCDDBH, MDBH, MGC:11246
About this gene: CARS1 encodes a class 1 aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase, cysteinyl-tRNA synthetase. Each of the twenty aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases catalyzes the aminoacylation of a specific tRNA or tRNA isoaccepting family with the cognate amino acid. CARS1 is one of multiple located near the imprinted gene domain on chromosome 11p15.5, an important tumor-suppressor gene region.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 833; HGNC ID: HGNC:1493; UniProt: P49589; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001014437.3; Chromosome location: 11p15.4
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
